Course

50K Race
The 50k trail race is a loop course on single track trails.  One 5+ mile loop is run four times, alternating with a 3+ mile loop run three times.  An aid station is located at the end of each loop.  Already a well-marked course, it will be marked even better this year.

Click here for a course map.  It’s off just a little, but it’s a real good map of the course.  A huge thanks to Jeff McPherson for his work on this map. There are plenty of rocks, roots, stone steps and deer.  It is a beautiful run that is so close to downtown of the Queen City of the Midwest, Cincinnati.

This is the 2020 course, which we might use in the future as well.

From Mike Rioux, our race cartographer, the total elevation change is 10,726 feet, that’s 5,363 feet in gain.

27K Course
The 27k trail race is a loop course on single track trails.  One 5+ mile loop is run two times, alternating with a 3+ mile loop run two times.

Mt. Airy Forest is listed as one of the best trail running locations to see before you die. Check it out: http://www.shape.com/lifestyle/fit-getaways/7-trails-run-you-die
